Ayubu Mohamed

Ayubu Mohamed served as a member of the Directorate for the 13th cohort of the GELA Prestigious Global Mentorship Programme (PGMP), where he actively volunteered as the Mentorship Score Lead. In this role, he supported the design, coordination, and evaluation of mentorship performance and assessment systems that strengthened the overall programme experience. He is a proud alumnus of PGMP Cohort 12.

Mr. Ayubu Mohamed is a Program Manager at Swahilipot Hub Foundation, where he combines a developer’s mindset with strategic leadership to design and scale impactful programs. His work focuses on driving operational excellence across youth, technology, and innovation initiatives by optimizing workflows, data systems, and measurable outcomes.

He serves as the Lead of the Pwani Innovation Week Secretariat, connecting academia, industry, and community stakeholders to strengthen and expand the region’s innovation ecosystem. Through this role, he plays a key part in fostering collaboration and sustainable innovation.

Ayubu is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of the People and is working toward becoming a Technical Program Manager with a focus on data, analytics, and people-centered systems.
